Yes — 15–30% markup on rod, wire, and gas is industry standard and covers waste, handling, and storage. List materials on their own line so the markup is defensible.

Do welders need to include certification on invoices?

For structural, pressure, or code-required work — always. Buyers and inspectors need the welder's certification number to accept the work. For repair jobs it's optional but builds trust.
